SOCKET INTERIOR, PUSH-THROUGH

This is the interior of a socket, the part that has the on-off, in this case push-through, switch, the terminals to which you connect the wires, and the opening to screw in the bulb.  It is intended for those making their own sockets, which we do not recommend except for experienced electricians and lighting creators.
